Spent time this evening just looking at some of my dolls and thinking of clothing I want to make them, materials I want to use, and supplies I may need. It was very relaxing and surprisingly rejuvenating.

Today I told my counsellor about the blow-out that my wife and I had recently when both of our scared inner children started hurling hurt at each other badly (verbally) and we both ended up in shock and traumatised again. My counsellor helped grown-up me to take back control by helping my terrified inner child to express himself safely and in a non-judgemental way so that he felt able to hand back control to adult me. Man, my counsellor is so good at this!
