hey everyone. I haven't ever posted in here, but I was looking for some help. my fiance has chronic pain throughout most of her body. her hips and knees are the worst, but she constantly gets migraines, and has these weird bumps on her head. she hates taking painkillers, because... "I don't like to let myself cause I realize how pain free I can be and then I want to take more." which is very admirable. she is an amazingly strong person, and I don't know how she does it. anyway. I was wondering if anyone out here has experimented with herbal remedies for pain relief... and if any have worked? My high school calculus teacher was a wonderful old man, who was a vegan and did not take any medicine. He had horrible back pain, and then he started using these herbal remedies he had heard about, and they worked wonderfully. Problem is, I can't remember what he used. I would greatly appreciate any help. even if they not herbal remedies, but medicine free techniques that you have used before. I know things don't always work out, but I really believe she can become pain free, and I'm going to do anything in my power to help her through it. thank you again so much!!!

Hypericum is a natural herb which acts like a mild antidepressant, in some it can relax you, help relieve pain or the urge to smoke, I guess it depends on the individual. Its over the counter at pharmacies but cant be taken with any other antidepressants.
