Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and am so happy to have found you all. I have multiple chronic pain conditions, including Fibromyalgia, Myofacial Pain Syndrome, multiple herniated discs w/ pinched spinal nerves, RSD/CRPS, etc... I also have Hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's) which causes the pain to be worse and also it's caused my cholesterol and trigs to be sky high. I have only 1 doctor, and he won't treat me for the high cholesterol and triglycerides. He says that "I can't afford it." I've lost everything b/c of the pain. I lost my career as a nurse, my home, my fiancee and most all friends. I had to move back into my mom and s-dad's home when I lost my own place, all due to being unable to pay the increasing high cost of the medical bills. The pain takes my breath away. I can't sleep and any rest I used to get during the day is history now that I've fallen into the caretaking roll with my mom and s-dad. I'm now doing most all of the housework including the vacuuming, which my dr. has forbidden me to do, the laundry, etc... I cry most all of the time and feel so alone. My mom and s-dad will not allow any outside help to come into their home, even though they have excellent insurance and can afford it. I'm living in a very dysfunctional environment. I see a therapist once a week and get to al-anon meetings when the pain allows. I'm beyond depressed. I'm hoping to find support and friends here. I'm honestly not a complainer. I don't know where to turn. I must get my own place, but am on disability and am having a very hard time finding a place I can afford. Also, I've aquired a dog, by default, and I love this little puppy dearly! He's now 2 years old. My mom bought him, but she never bonded with him and I care for him 100%. I can't lose my dog too. That would be the last straw for me. It would break my heart.

Any support, encouragement, friendship, etc... would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

hi welcome to pc. Anything i can do for you just let me know. i'm in pain everyday every night i cry also I do see a pain dr. my back hurts 24/7
