I don't have fibromyalga(sp?) lol, but I don't have fibro but I have Chronic Severe Pain and Central Nerve Damage meaning every nerve is inflamed....

Not to dis anyone with fibro, forgive me if I said it wrong as I usually do but anywho, does anyone deal with a constant chronic pain?

Just wondering, cause were feeling alone out here and I know we can't be the Only ones, ya know?

I am so sorry my fibro friends hurt so much........ gentle hugs who wants them!

Thanks for your time, Crew Peace

crew i ask myself the same question
\ "i'm not the only one, am i"...i also say "i know i'm not the only one, but i know others hurt but are they really really in pain....i know pain is pain...but some is worse than others and not to discount anyone...why do others get better treatment than me...at times....lol

all these questions constantly swimming throuhg my head than i realize...does it matter?...no!...is it going to make a difference....no!
see how messed up i am! i contribute it to to many non eventful days alone at home (that is my existence)

yes i am in chronic pain mom said i grew up in a hospital and i always ran away when i saw someone with a white coat coming....but surrently i am battling with my back well it's been a 11 year battle but i'm not totaly losing plus nerve damage call me ms. shaky i look like someon with DT'S all the time hard to explain to people why i shake sometimes the coffee excuse works. but yes i am in pain everyday and hardly anything works, and yes a lot of the nerve damage and shakyness i did to myself and being a furniture mover and laborerand smoker for so many years i probably caused the DDD..but i am in pain non the less.......where's that miracle pill?,..oh yeah i need to die if i want to be pain free....but than who would take over the job of harrasing my doctors so much and giving them a hard time!! no i think i will stay here and keep that job for a lil while longer.....

sorry it's one of thoose sense of humors!
lol i also have problems with my feet i had them in c asts for 4 summers ina row trying to do the non surgical route my tendons were short and i walked on my tiptoes and now well i have pain in my feet when i walk...i have no arch so that hurts and i cann't stand longer than 5 minutes.....hey this is fun getting all this out...thanks crew! can we just go on and list stuff?? we should just make a thread of what hurts today!!!
Thanks for this!

Crew, this might sound completely useless in the scheme of things but I shall give it a go......

I have fibro but also nerve damage (feelings of "intense fire" in specific places on the body).....mainly my hands, shoulderblades, back of my ribs and hips.... I have a walking stick for the really bad days.

Clonazepam (Paxim) seems to be helping......don't know if you have tried that.

I am sorry you are in so much pain and I don't know if it is the same pain as the one I am describing, but your post "called" out to me

Take care hon,

Michah

Hi Crew ~ I too have Severe Chronic pain, and my Central Nervous system is all screwed up. Everything is inflamed. And YES, I hurt 24/7 -- on that stupid pain scale from 1-10, I'm usually at about an 8. That is WITH meds.

This has been going on now for 26 years. I'm tired. very tired. Some days I don't even change into my clothes. Plus i had a stupid heart attack about a month ago -- luckily it didn't do any heart damage. It was a "silent" heart attack and I didn't even know I had it!! My doc found it on the EKG. Trouble is, since then I'm having trouble breathing. good grief.

So I'm with ya Crew. I wish I was older -- cause maybe it would be almost time to "go." Ya know what I mean?? I'd never do it myself -- but I'm looking forward to it.

God bless and I hope & pray your pain is eased somehow. Hugs, Lee

I suffer from Chronic Myofascial Pain...have you researched this definition? Seems each of your issues would have a proper name, and that would allow you to discuss it better with us and with your doctors.

Goodness, I think some doctors don't want to share the actual DX for fear of---what? the patient might actually have it then?

Research neuropathies. Try the diabetic websites as well, since they have some of those type of issues.

Good wishes.
