I'm so sick of this flippin' pain! I was seeing an osteopath for it and my medicaid covered it, but he suddenly decided I need to see a chiropractor but medicaid doenst cover that and I can't really afford it; the only thing the doctor gave me for the pain was prescription Ibuprofen and it doesnt really help. I want to get drunk to alleviate the pain.

Luminal LOL! You are lucky getting drunk works to alleviate pain ...not for me, it makes it worse. Maybe I need to try harder?! So far, Nothing helps my pain. 24/7 It is awesome in a bad way... I did the osteopath thing too but actually got better healing with chiropractic. Maybe there is a way to find one that will work with you on the payments or your primary doc could write an Rx for a few treatments? Then it can be billed...Sorry you are having this too

Have you tried naproxin with Tylenol? Naproxin is an anti inflammatory and you can take them at the same time. Its the only thing that works for my migraines. But don't get drunk on it or you're liver will hate you!

I've been struggling with back pain since I was about 12 or 13 at least--now I'm 50. It's been a numerous amount of things that contributed to and worsened the pain. A lot of it is that my back is crooked anyway, and I used to get jumped and beat up a lot because I walked funny. I went thru a stage when I was about 8 or 9 when I kept jumping off my top bunk bed, pretending to be Supergirl, and that killed my back. My first husband beat me on a regular basis, so Im sure that had a lot to do with it.
