I am becoming so drained on top of the fatigue I've already been plagued by. I've had to stop working out like I was because it ALWAYS causes a flare up. Being awake hurts. Sleeping hurts. Waking up hurts the most. I spend a lot of days just crying in bed because of this pain. And I didn't cry when I got in a car wreck that involved a broken wrist/arm, damaged knee, and burns. But this is debilitating.

Sitting too long hurts. Standing too long hurts. Laying down makes it worse. It's just getting to me. I am so tired of this pain. I have chronic inflammation of the connective tissues + cartilage + chest wall, all in my chest. And found out yesterday I have gallstones. But my other joints hurt and throb and we still haven't found out what it is.

My Sedimentation Factor - Westregen was 68 on a 0-32 scale. That's a lot of pain.

I'm crying while typing this. I want to know whats wrong with me, completely. I am tired of suffering through everyday and feeling sick constantly. I just want answers and ways to cope.

I feel for you and I'm there too. Have they given you any pain relief?

My doctor gave me nepraxon (not sure how to spell it) but since I am on medicaid, they are making it a huge issue where I have to keep waiting even though it isn't a controlled substance. Tomorrow I am going to flare up horribly because I am seeing a rheumatologist tomorrow morning and there will be more poking around. Agh.

I just want the pain to ease for one day. That's it.

Hey, I have a similar problem. The doctors don't know what's wrong with me for sure. My DHEA is high but no doctor will admit that that could have something to do with it. Oh well...

I don't have bad flare-ups on a daily basis...yet. But that could be because I have an extremely high tolerance to pain. But that isn't quite as good as it sounds—I've had some relatively serious injuries go untreated because I didn't feel pain so I thought I was ok.

But I relate to what you're talking about...and I'm sorry you have to go through this too and that you're able to have good days right now. I wish I knew the answer...there's herbal pills you can take for various kinds of inflammation and joint pain etc. I don't know how much it costs as my mom buys them for me because she went through something similar to me, so she understands. I hope you have family or someone who understands and can help you out when need it. Either way, I'll be here for you.

Hi I'm the same, everything you've mentioned I go through daily, I'm so fed up now..... Ten years I've had this.
I used to take naproxen but now I'm on a slow release morphine patch plus oramorph when needed.
Still have a lot of pain however life before the patches was much worse.
I also have arthritis throughout the body and now the weathers changing so is the type of pains I experience.
I hope you get relief soon
Take care

TI-

Naproxen by rx is just a higher dose of "Aleve". SO whatever that dose is, you could juust purchase Aleve, or the store generic, and calculate how many to take. This is what makes me angry at doctors.

Have they tested you for Lyme?

I DO hope you feel better. Intense pain makes me feel like I am on another planet.

I just checked Walmart's generic drug list.....Naproxen 375 mg and 500mg are on there...60 tablets $4.
