Ugghh. Bad weekend. My RA was really bad this weekend, coming to a head yesterday (Sunday). I could barely get out of bed and walk. And when I did my hips hurt so bad I couldn't stand up straight, but walked almost bent 90 degrees, facing the floor. I was in bed all day and night. My hips were hot on the outside from the inflammation, and I was running a fever from it. Couldn't sleep, even after taking my pain med. Got up, standing a little straighter, and went to sit by my husband in the computer room. I sat for 10 minutes or less and had to go lie down my hips were hurting so bad. I was so fatigued, my muscles were wobbly and I wasn't sure I could walk back to the bedroom. RA flare up Its eased off some today, I can actually sit and not feel like keeling over. Still inflamed and swollen, I'm really itchy around my joints from the swelling and my hips are still warm to the touch. But even this much improvement is better than how things were yesterday! RA flare up I hadn't been in that bad of shape since before I got on any meds last year. RA flare up

Ugh it is tougher without a PT. Did you ever see one, at least to learn what exercises to do and how to do them, for your level of activity and pain?

(((hugs))) I hope today is a much better day for you.

Not for this, I only went after my car wreck several years ago. It did not help, though, then. RA flare up
