the pain get worse when I study or I focus on some activity. I feel that the constant stress of everyday life are the main cause of my headache. Stress makes me wear my mind and I feel tired even when it is still day.

I get them a lot too I've had one for over a week now. Meds only help a little and just make me sleepy. Have you ever talked to your Dr about it?

Hi I used to get these daily also and really suffer badly with vomiting from it.
Now I take propranolol 10mg 4 times a day and touch wood I've not had one since January.
There caused with the pain, fatigue, tension and tiredness and can be really debilitating. ( of course you will already know this).
Have a word with your dr, I literally tried every headache medication out there and none of them worked
Take care
J
Thanks for this!

I talked to my psychologist about the headache. he referred me to a psychiatrist, who told me that I should go to a neurologist, but I still do not have money to pay a neurologist and the public system in my town do not referral to a neurologist.

Once when I was under a lot of stress at a new job, I started getting painful headaches at work. My regular doctor prescribed Fiorinal, which turned out to be a god-send. Eventually, I got used to the new job and stopped getting the headaches. I never again got bad headaches that were recurrent and never again needed this medication. I credit the Fiorinal with breaking the cycle of stress-headache-more stress. It allowed me to stay in a stressful job that I eventually mastered. There is a time and a place where a good pain med can be your salvation. Maybe that would help you, or not. It worked for me.

Headaches are awful. I hope you find a solution.

Ok this is going to seem strange but it causes headaches and severe migraines for me. Do you drink any diet drinks? The artificial sweeteners in that crap give some people migraines. If you do drink them then stop and see if that helps.

Oh I agree that there are many other causes of headaches!

Have you had your eyes checked?
If not your vision, then it might be the posture or position you end up in when you study!

Foods and inhalents (smells) can cause headaches especially if you are allergic to them.

Since you get a headache every day...try keeping track of what you were doing --or what you ate or drank or what position you were in or where you were--- right before--or two hours before (write it down and keep track.)

It could be something "simple" like you're allergic to say, kapoc, and the pillow you prop yourself up upon is stuffed with it.

I would not do the neurologist/psychiatrist thing until I had searched out everything in my life first!

Good wishes!
