Has anyone ever tried one of these for Chronic back and leg pain? What are your thoughts of these type of 'Alternative medicine'? I use a TENS unit and love it as long as its on, but as soon as I take it off the pain comes right back.

I hear you about the tens machine and it is great while on. Once off, the muscles seem to tighten up again and there goes the pain. Ugggh.

I've tried chiropractic many years ago. There was a couple of specific issues I went for with my cervical spine that I found helpful and also to get my legs back in alignment when one went shorter than the other and that worked well too. I'm not too keen on going back again though.

I don't know anything about reflexology or biofeedback, never done them. Would love to try acupuncture! I have a friend who swears by it and it gives them relief for almost 2 weeks at a time.

I hope you find something that works well for you!

I’ve undergone chiropractic treatment for back pain and gets better within two weeks. The chiropractic treatment involves some manual adjustments in which the doctor manipulates the joints, using certain techniques. The chiropractor usually incorporates nutritional counseling during treatment which helps in maintaining the health even after the treatment. It is one of the safe and effective treatments for chronic pain.

You can try it, it will work!

for yrs i have used theaputic massage thearpy and it was amazing. i knew when Lorena was one of a kind and finding out since she has been gone for 15 yrs i miss her for it is hard to find someone as good as she was. i do ask new ppl that i call a lot of questions before i decide to go. also i found eating right does help. i have a book about FM and how to eliminate the pain but being on disablity it is hard for it is out of pocket. i wish we all could get a congressional hearing and do like Europe. they pay for vitamins and supplimnets for them also having national health care it is cheaper keeping ppl healthy then waiting until they are sick. i was diabetic 2 pills 3 times a day and by learning i do not have to take no more pills. just one healing i have had but Naturpathic drs are hard to find and ones who take medicad.

I would LOVE to have an alternative treatment. Unfortunately the state Medicaid does not pay for them and I don't have the money to do it. I do, however, practice yoga and that does provide some relief!

I've tried chiropractic before. Feels amazing, but it wears off for me in about a week. I can't pay $250 a week until I meet my deductible, so it's an out for me right now. Def worth a try if it's covered or you can pay out of pocket.
