First off, wanted to say thanks to everyone here that has given me some peace of mind. It's much appreciated. This week I finished my spinal PT in excruciating pain. I was told that the weights I was lifting were so heavy that it may take weeks for the pain to start to lessen. I'm not extremely hopeful but we will see. Could use a little relief. Anyway, going to stay positive for the rest of this I promise
![]() I hope everyone here can find a little relief and happiness at a time of the year when I know can be extremely hard when dealing with pain and depression. Try to at least take a few moments for theirselves wether that's reading a book, taking a bath, watching their favorite movie, or whatever. And here's to a new year. Here's to being hopeful and positive in the new year and finding some positive changes in the new year. I know I struggle greatly with this one. But I will try my hardest to stay positive and focused in the new year for hopefully positive change ![]() It's been a long road for me and significantly longer road for some others here. But I personally find a lot of strength in knowing I'm not alone (and not crazy ![]() |

I couldnt agree more with this. I hope to be more positive and to keep the good fight going in 2016 as well. They say when you're most miserable is when you're most open to major life changes. Looking back in this last year I have made some pretty big changes with way too much physical therapy, food choices, etc. Heck, I even agreed to a pain group thing at the clinic here in january and with my social anxiety it wouldnt have been possible even 8 months ago.
