I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I have chronic pain in my neck, shoulder, and back. Couldn't continue working so I had to move back in with my parents. Despite me being grateful, my family and I fight a lot. I feel they don't understand me. Just waiting for the doctors to finally, if ever, schedule an MRI..... I want to die every day honestly. I know a lot of people have it much worse..... I'm mentally ill too and treated differently for that. Just super tired. I just want to escape but I'm waiting around for doctor appointments and things. To top it off my father made me a .5% owner of his business for tax breaks. When I was very young, and didn't know what papers I was signing. I don't get money from this. So I cannot get SSI, because I literally own POINT FIVE percent of a business..... Thank you for reading and I wish you all peace and happiness.

Look into SSDI....disability insurance. That shouldn't matter whether you have a part ownership or not since you have no income from it.

Hello SqrqhJean: I'm sorry you are struggling. I struggle with chronic pain too. So I know how difficult it can be. I hope that you will soon be able to get your MRI & that this might help to get the ball rolling for you toward better health. Please hang in there...

Hi I can really sympathize with your situation, I injured my back at work 6yrs ago and it took 2yrs for me to get an MRI. During that 2yr period I lived in totally agony and I also struggled with money too. I'm still living with daily pain but have with the help of pain meds managed to live some form of a life it's not the life I had before or the life I expected but I am happy for the most part.
The key is not to push yourself to do more than your body is able to do as you then spend days recovering good luck to you
