Hello everyone. I suspect I have some sort of chronic pain but I'd like to lay it out since I have not been diagnosed. I will visit a doc soon to confirm but first I'd like to know if it's worth it. Let me stress I would very much like not to have it so please if it doesn't sound like what you go through, feel free to tell me. It would be a relief.

For years now (I'm 25 now) I feel pain close to my ribs usually before sleep and upon waking. Lately the pain has spread to my arm just were the joint is (pain is on the inside of the elbow). I've had migraines for years (once a week on average). My mom has this too. Also lately (over two months) there is a toothache that comes and goes.

Back pain is a given and generally I feel like when I sleep my body doesn't relax, like my muscles are always tense and I always wake up tired.

My blood tests are perfect although I don't exercise lately. Stress seems to worsen things, making me very uncomfortable and irritable.

I was diagnosed bipolar a year ago. My anxiety is quite bad.

The pain is not so bad that I can't function or go up a flight of stairs although there is always some muscle discomfort. I also get chest pains often.
I am a smoker I think I should mention this. Two nights ago the pain on my side was so bad I couldn't sleep -I kept tossing about. I want to stress that this pain has been in the background -it has never kept me from doing the things I wanted. It has just been there and I think I'm so used to it I brush it off as much as possible.

Should I see a doctor? Is this sth you relate too? Thanks.

Go see your regular MD and then ask to be referred to a rhuemy. It sounds like fibro, but I'm no expert and it could not be it. It can't hurt to be checked though.

PM me if there is anything I can do.
