i am in so much pain. i have only slept once in the last three days because the pain is unrelenting. my pain meds aren't helping right now and i'm at witts end. i cant lay in one position long enough to fall asleep because i cant get comfortable no matter what i try. i dont know what else to do. either my liver will shut down because of all the narc's or my heart will stop because of the muscle relaxers. epi's nor steroids have helped either. the pain in my back and legs just gets worse and worse. dont know how long i can stand it. surgeons wont touch it because its too risky. they say as long as i can walk they wont attempt it because the discs are compressing in on spine and have nerve roots to both legs impenged between the two. if nerves are accidentally severed i'll lose use of legs. so, i pretty much just have to deal with it. have been for two years and it sucks. and will only get worse. which really sucks.

sorry for ranting....pain and lack of sleep is really getting to me.

thank you guys for your support. just knowing that i am not alone, that there is someone out there to listen really means alot. i think my hubby is sick of hearing it. though he would never say such a thing outloud but i know it gets old hearing it. because i get tired of saying it.

thanks again,

((((hugs)))) Have you had ongoing physical therapy to help your muscles not aggravate the problem? What about hypnosis to tend to the pain some? Gotta keep trying... tc
