Does severe and chronic depression qualify as chronic pain, or is this forum just for physical pain?

Yes, I realize that there is a forum for depression, but sometimes depression brings with it much physical pain, like migraines, for instance.

Hi Altered,

This part of the forum for Chronic Pain is for intense, physical pain lasting 6 months or longer.

If you experience migraines due to your depression, I would urge you to consider posting, even if you haven't had them 6 months or longer.

Feel welcome to participate.

Hi Altered,

If you ever want to send me a private message, feel free to do so. Maybe I have some information that may help you as I have chronic pain and have had several severe depressions.

Hi Altered, yes you are ahead of the game when you can accept that psychological issues affect us physically too.

Migraines come and go, but are horrible pain, I know.

My chronic pain is always there/here. It flares into severe pain at times. Keeping my stress managed helps me manage my pain too.
