Pflower, no way did you sound like bossy Betty. You sounded like a caring person.
I'm supposed to be off this next week, but am going to work Monday. That will allow me to finish stuff that needs to be done by the end of the month. Haven't decided about the rest of the week. I'm telling myself to take it off. |

I had a really tough day today (afternoon, anyway)
had a visit from a new member of the mental health team- and apart from it being totally unexpected and a shock to the system, one of the questions she asked me was.... what are the 5 most important things to move forward? and I really didn't have an answer for her
Possible trigger:
which is the truth, but found that I couldn't say that to her because it may end bad for me so I just told her litirally theo nly things I could think of- move back to my home city, and stop being treated like crap and that I don't have a brain okay, that last one about being treated like crap is possibly something she can help me with, but moving back to my home city?. who am I kidding. I just don't want anything apart from
Possible trigger:
so I found the question really hard when she left I just fell silent and felt so drained.. wishing I could tell her more, but also wishing that I never met her in the first place. distracted myself by writing my shopping list, and I guess that helped a little. |

today's not got off to the greatest of starts.
stomach ache caused by sausage rolls, then the delivery of my baby doll (almost a week late) who doesn't do anything much, and I'm gutted. she cries, sure and she comes with a passifier and a baby bottle, but she doesn't make the sounds when you feed her or put the passifier in her mouth she doesn't even have a little pushchair. I'm not that happy about it |

I am following through with my plan to take most of the week off. I worked Monday, but it allowed me to finish something that would've nagged at me if I left it undone.
Yesterday I met a friend at a farmer's market she told me about. I went a little nuts buying fresh fruit, but I love the fruit available this time of year. Plus it is truly fresh. They bring it in daily. They also have a deli. Picked myself up a sandwich to have when I got home. Stopped at the outlet mall to get new Reeboks. The clerk was this nice young fella who said I seemed like a nice person and he wanted to give me a discount. He ended up giving me the discount. Afternoon monsoons started not long after I got home. Ate my samich then took a short nap. Ended up napping on and off the rest of the day. Nice start to my time off! |

I'm in the midst of one of those lower back all the way down the leg sciatic nerve thingies and whew boy!
Kept me up half the night and I'm still trying to find that just right position to help take the edge off the pain. I know I've survived it before and I know that it will pass but does it have to be such an SOB while it's here? |

Pflower, can you lay on the floor? I found when my back is at its worst laying out flat on the floor helps.

I wish!
Even if I could get down on it, I'd never be able to get myself back up off it. I can lay flat on my back in the bed though! And I've got some tennis balls on the way. Until they arrive I'll just have to use my fist! Flat on my back with a tennis ball between the sac joint & spine helps. Crying & Cussing does too! |

Whew, Lawd! Changing the linens today and boy howdy what a mountain that is to climb! What used to take all of 15 minutes now takes over an hour with several breaks along the way! Thankful I can still do it but miss those days I was able-bodied and could do it all quick & pain free!

This isn't strictly fibro related, but thought I'd post here anyhow. Arthritis in my hands is getting worse. I bought a pair of weight lifters gloves over the weekend. They fit tightly so there's compression on my hands. They extend to the first knuckle on each finger too. I'm hoping they help with the pain in my hands. I'll let you know if they help.

I can't remember the last time I was in so much pain.
I was in so much pain yesterday it should be a crime. I couldn't move for 40/50 minutes, at all and I was so nauseious. it was horrible, and I never thought I'd say this out loud, but I really can't wait until they get their act together and sort out my 1 to 1 care. with my boddy failing like this, my mental health a wreck, and me forgetting things faster than I'm being told them, this is the beginning of the end.... I tell you. the beginning of the end. and today I hurt loads. not as much as yesterday, but still a lot. I don't get the luxury of sleep, so the change isn't really too noticeable.. |

I am so ****ing sick of having an empty stomach night after night, I swear
yesterday for dinner I had steak with salt and pepper on it. within half an hour of realising I didn't like the steak and feeling unsatisfied, I helped myself to candy (chocolate segments), which, as nice as they were, didn't fill me up so I ended the day, again, not feeling like I had a decent meal pain is bad today- not just the back stuff, but hungry also |

This week my Fibromyalgia pain and muscle spasms have been non-stop. Non-stop and keeping me up at night. This evening I took half a cannabis edible….slept. I cooked in my crockpot. I really freaking like crockpots with multiple settings . I ate some southern cabbage, cleaned my kitchen and took a shower. My teenager received a lot of hospital treatments and is in summer school. I’m going to take another half an edible and get a few hours sleep .
