I have multiple mental health issues.

But I also struggle with degenerative disc disease, and bad knees from sitting up sleeping and going to the bed. I developed lyphedema from sitting up sleeping up. Having all that blood stagnant caused it. It took 2 years to get rid of the wounds. They have come back twice and in a different place. I have a friend that comes and uses the medical supplies and we get rid of them and by the time I get in to see the wound clinic the arnp it has healed. But it keeps coming back! It's beyond stressful!

@Manarinorange oh no that sounds really awful. That must really be frustrating that it keeps coming back.

I sleep in my recliner chair sometimes but put my legs up. It sounds like you have some medical issues that may need attention.

Hope you find a way to work things out.

Please try to keep your feet elevated when you sleep, if possible. If the wounds are shallow, a dressing with Manuka Honey might provide faster healing.

My wife is on her second serious wound. I know chronic wounds are not fun, especially if they're on the bottom of the foot because then you need a special "off-loading" boot to protect the healing progress.

I hope you heal soon, Manarinorange.

I know from personal experience that physical ailments make mental ailments worse.

For me what helps get rid of them is 2,3, or 4 layer wraps they need compression. For m
Medicine we use hydro thera blue. It kills off the
Infection. It's not on the bottom of my foot. It's at my ankle. But I'm feeling pain where the old wound was. Excuse my typos. I'm posting on my phone. I don't have a working computer.

Thanks for your suggestions tjo.

Yep, we've used Hydra Fera Blue -- it's neat stuff! Good luck!
