I made a beef stew, it takes 3 hours+ to make. I wasn't standing the whole time or even the majority of the time, but enough I'm hurting today.

Knees are hot and 'splintery' feeling. My left elbow feels the worst, I'm kind of assuming from chopping things (onions, carrots, celery, potatoes). I was holding the knife in my right hand, but using my left arm (which was feeling better) to actually push down to chop.

I still get frustrated at my limitations and sometimes try to 'overcome' them...and end up hurting myself. I wasn't trying yesterday, though...it wasn't hurting until I got up this morning. -kicks RA-

-snarls and sidles out-

Oh I hear you hear you hear you! It sucks so bad that we can't even do something simple like cook!! Mine was mopping the floor Friday. The back and forth motion, now my elbow is burning and my fingers don't want to work. Question for you though...was the stew good?

Ewww sweeping/mopping hurts so bad even doing a 3 foot x 3 foot area, when I used to try (I gave up) I couldn't use my arms at all for 2 days or more after

The stew was really good. But then its one of my specialties...or what I say one of my specialties is. Family thinks anything made well is a specialty, but I'm pickier in what I apply that word to

And I love to cook, so not being able to all the time is just so I used to cook all the time, then it went down to most of the time and kept going down until now its like, 'hardly ever'. -growl- Pft not to mention all the other stuff...but I better not or I will get into a really grumpy mood instead of just frustraded xDDD

I have a rolling walker for the worst days, if its almost impossible to walk. I use it while cooking sometimes, so I don't have to stand and do things...but its a little low for the counters, and doesn't help shoulder pain x]

Thank you {{{{Bebop}}}} Hope you're feeling better.

I have a walker but it is heavier than my weight limit lol go figure. I did buy a nice wheel chair at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago so I use that when we are going to be out now. I am hoping for a power chair or scooter soon. do you have either of those to use when you go out?

No, some days it would be nice, though. Plus I can't currently see my rheumatologist, tribal BS. Different than the MH BS, but worse, RA makes me feel alot worse than anything else.

And today is so much worse than yesterday was...hopefully it only gets better now.
