So i had an appointment to be asseseed by a rheumy doc yesterday, and it went GREAT!!

He confirmed that i definetly have Fibromyalgia and explained alot of stuff to me, including the fact that just because some doctors dont beleive it exists does not mean i should ever have to feel like im not beleived. It was great validation and he mentioned some ways i can keep at my best, and confirmed that i shouldnt press myself if im having a bad day, just take it slow and do what I can when i can.

He was so nice, and made sure I knew he understood and beleived me and said he would ensure that my doc knows its for sure too so i can get the pain treatments i need(not all narcotic either!),

I was really impressed with how nice he was.

Oh, that's great! So glad you found a good rheumy that can help you both by listening and offering validation/support. Lessening pain is always a good thing, too, so its wonderful that he is helping in that way with your regular doc too. Hope the pain relievers (whatever they may be) work well and you feel better.

So cool! I'm so happy that you have a decent doc - can make all the difference. So glad that you got a full diagnosis and validation.
