I'm really struggling at the moment with the pain, especially at night, when it keeps me awake.
So far my only ideas to help are as follows: 1. Take painkillers (prescribed and non prescribed) and anti inflamatories 2. Having a hot bath 3. Light stretching Does anyone have anymore? |

A pain killer pill taken with a full adult dose of Benadryl helps me sleep at night for a good four hours when my RA & Fibro are acting up.
Sorry you are suffering... ((( hugs ))) |

I also use benadryl, I tried ambien and elvil but could not take the side-effects. So I went back to benadryl, I have used it for years without a dr. ever telling me. I find that it helps me sleep and wake up better, it was the hangover feeling with the ambien and elvil. Hope you get some rest. PS, I am also on Lyrica. Personally I think the whole lyrica thing is over-blown. I felt good for 9 weeks after I started it and have never felt good since even though the dose has increased from 100mg. per day to 400mg. over the last year.
