I've looked at a few dozen profiles here by now, and they've all appeared normally for me. When I go to a certain members' though, I get an almost-blank page. I see some of the usual beige background with various white boxes scattered around in the usual places, and three images (two for a member and the avatar of a friend). There's no visible text*, though when I click on Edit | Select all some does appear. The status bar at the bottom of my browser window says "Done" so apparently nothing else is waiting to be loaded.

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.20 (the last "2" version) with Windows 98 SE. When I try to open the same page with Internet Explorer (5, I think) it crashes with an "Illegal operation" error.

No broken profile. Some members choose to not include as much personal information and thus there is very little text. It means that they're choosing to not include as much information for the general PC population to read about them there directly.

Actually, I forgot to write back, but this member's profile was white on white text, making it impossible to read. It's been fixed.

Let me be clear here in case any other members try and do this -- white on white text breaks your profile, and is against our Terms of Use by purposely disabling some of the site's functionality. This is not allowed.

Profile customization is a feature we allow our members to use, and trust them to use it in a responsible and appropriate manner.
