Hello. The people I live with part time recently switched from dial up to Hughes Net wireless internet. I used to be able to go into chat rooms with my dial up internet, but the popout for the chat room is merely a gray screen with my Hughes Net internet. I know that Hughes Net works by means of a satellite, but I don't understand why that prevents any of the chat rooms from loading. Is there a way for me to fix this problem?

Thank you very much for your help.

the1forgotten,
I found the following link that may help. scroll down to the bottom to the self help section on the right side. there may be answer for you there.
http://customercare.myhughesnet.com/

You may also want to try the search function here at PC...I think others had the same problem and it was not related to the provider.

Good luck,
Catherine
