started using mozilla firefox after internet exploer kept freezing on me, but now i have a problem, i use multiple tabs and sometimes when i click on a tab to view that page the tab shuts and opens asa new page, any one have any ideas why this happing

I would check under tools/options and see if there is a setting that needs to be changed hon. Other than that, I have no idea why FF is doing that. I also use FF and I have no issues like that.

I have had that happen with firefox but my was computer was having other issues at the time too. I know I was infected with spyware and either a virus or a worm so my son recently reinstalled our XP operating system so we could start all over.

Before my son wiped our hard drive clean with the reinstallation we found the browser Opera to work better with our issues.

Yes. There's a setting, to my knowledge, preferences on how you view pages?

To change tabbed browsing settings open the ToolsFirefoxEdit menu and select Options...Preferences..., then select the Tabs panel.
