I'm just wondering why my posts are under "moderation?"
I posted on one of the blogs.
It's not the first time, for sure.

I did just switch from IE to foxfire, but, that's the only new thing. And they were supposed to move all my stuff over. For example, I did not have to sign back in here, because I have this site remember me.

So, how come the blogs didn't remember me?
Or am I being moderated for some reason?

Peace!

Are you talking about your comments on the blogs being under moderation? If so a lot of people have their blogs set to automatically put all comments made to their blog in moderation, so they can chose whether or not to allow the comment on their blog. I hope that answers your question.

Thank you for your answer.
But, no, I do not have it set for moderation.
I have not been moderated before, either.
That's why I asked the question.

If somehow, it got set to moderation,
during the switch,
how can I change it?

Again, thank you!

Peace!

I'm confused. Sunflower, are you talking about being "under moderation" when you post to your own blog, or when you post comments to someone else's?

My own blog is set so that NO comments show immediately, but wait until I have viewed them and accepted them... that is what "under moderation" means when referring to a blog post here.

No, I do not have mine set to moderation -- that I know of.
If it is, it was changed with the change from IE to foxfire, and without my knowledge.
And I do not want it.
After gimmeice spoke of it, I tried to see if I was set there, but, could not find it, so, I do not know if I am or not.
But, I did *not* purposefully put myself under moderation.

FoolZero,
I do not have my own blog.
It was another blog I was responding to.

It's showing now.
But, I don't know if I'll have the same issue later or not.
I hope not....

So, if I do,
How do I correct it.
The *only* different thing is my change from IE to foxfire.
Thanks for any help.

Peace!

What everyone means is that whomever's blog you posted on moderates all (not just yours) comments before posting them. Its just something some people chose to do. It has nothing to do with your settings on any restrictions your account is under. It was random, I'm sure. Some people allow all comments to show up immediately, others like to read them before they are visible, hence the "under moderation" comment. So, I don't think you should worry.

One reason for blog comments to go into moderation is to keep the comments on topic. Another is to screen out nasty comments whether they have anything to do with the topic or not. It also keeps out spam advertising.

the UNDER MODERATION is a setting from the blog on which you were commenting. Wait a day or two and recheck and see if the blog owner has reviewed your comment and allowed it to post in public.

Thanks, but, the blogger, Alicia, did not know why I was moderated either.

Like I said, it's showing now. And you can see for yourself that she doesn't know why.
Oh, well..... Let's just hope it was the switch from IE to foxfire that caused a lil hiccup in the system.

Peace!
