I'm used to the default font in posts being something like an Arial or sans-serif, around a size 2. Until recently, when I've inserted one of my "asides" I've specified size 1 and that text has come out significantly smaller.
Lately, though, the basic text in all posts, old or new, looks the way size 1 used to look, and when I specify "size 1" the text gets bigger, not smaller. I'm guessing that this may be the result of a change to the stylesheets or something. Is this a glitch, or was it done for a reason -- or could it be only happening to me? I did recently get a new monitor but I wouldn't have expected any of the ensuing system changes to affect the text size in posts this way. ![]() Samples: specifying size 1 and back to default specifying size 2 and back to default specifying size 3 and back to default I didn't think there was any such thing as -->size 0<-- but even THAT seems to come out bigger than the default. |

I have not noticed any change (using Camino for the Macintosh as a browser).
Your default, and what I see all the time, seems, on my monitor, to be in between the sizes 2 and 3 that you entered.

Oops, the problem was on my end!
![]() On my system (Win 98 SE) I get a choice of "large fonts" or "small fonts" for things like window titles and icons. I didn't think it affected text size in posts too. Using my old monitor, I had to switch to small in order to run certain programs. With the new monitor I thought I could just keep it on small but I see there's a downside. |
