I can block out all the regular forums...
but there's a social group, that is public but I'm not a member of
that is showing on my listing and
I want to block it and not see it.
Is this possible with those forums?

Sorry Sky, I see no way to block viewing of any social group listing.

I don't believe it's something that DocJohn would easily be able to include like blocking forums as social groups come and go quickly. It would be difficult to keep up with them and have an up to date listing at all times.

Of course, I could be wrong about all this, forgive me if I am.

I don't think there is a way, and I think it's just part of the way the boards are coded so it might not be so easy to change if it's possible so that you could...

I had made this suggestion myself over a year ago, but to avail as you know. More & more social groups are popping up daily. Since the date/time of the last posting from a member in each group doesn't show up in MY list of groups (the ones I'm a member of), I have to scroll through pages of groups to see if there are new ones in my group.

I don't want to open each group; no point in opening it without new posts, or if I was the last one posting.
