Dear Admins,

Would one of you please let me know if it's possible, using a certain number of keystrokes or some menu command, to have all of one's prior posts in different forums all gathered together for review? Has this question been posed before? Is it possible that admins have some way of doing this that regular members do not? Would your tech experts say that this is possible or impossible? Wouldn't it be advantageous for the admins, when they're reviewing a problem post, to easily review the writer/member's prior posts? This occurred to me the other day when I was called to account for a particularly offensive post I had mistakenly posted without giving it the serious consideration I should have. I think that each member should have access to the bulk of posts they themselves have written, but that admins should have access in this way to all members' posts. I'm not a computer expert by any means, but it seems to me that this should be possible.

Thank you for considering this issue.

Take care!

I'm not admin, but while they ponder a one-click link, thought I'd reply.

You can now pull all prior posts of your own or another's through the profile page. Click on your name and then on "statistics" and there you can pull all posts written by who's name you selected.

Hi, JD,

I tried what you suggested: clicked on my name, got a box that said "mini-statistics" with a click box below it that said something like "complete statistics," but when I click on it nothing happens.

???????????????????

Take care!

I can get to all the posts I make just by clicking on my name, then on the statistics tab then click on all posts by amandalouise. works every time for me when looking for my own posts and for other peoples posts by clicking on their name, statistis tab then all posts by that person

Good to have it figured out

I would like to be able to search my posts by parameters of dates. It's nearly impossible to "pull all posts by (JD)" at this point. To be able to type in dates and search for posts made within those dates would be appreciated. (Like in the advanced search option, only in the profile option page.)

So far I haven't figured out how to duplicate what you got. Try this:

-- Scroll up to something you've posted in this thread.

-- Click (regular left click) on the big Ygrec23 in the left column.

-- When the pulldown menu appears, click on "Find More Posts by Ygrec23".

Since you have fewer than 500 posts, the search should turn up everything you've posted to date. The search results will be in the usual format showing only the first line or two of each post. If you want to collect the full text, you'll need to go to each post individually and copy-paste it to a Word document or similar file.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
