I know that my first or second post said it was awaiting moderation, but now when I make a post it appears in the thread but then disappears. Is this due to moderator review or how many posts are required before the posts stay put? Thanks.

You should be good to go, as far as initial moderation. I've sometimes had posts disappear. Not sure what causes it, but if you are making a long post, it's always best to write in a word program and then copy paste it into a thread so that you have a copy in case that happens.

If you continue to have problems though, please let us know.

I'm experiencing the same issue. My introduction post showed up, and my first reply to a thread showed up, but everything I have posted since doesn't show up at all. Bit confused

Edit: Hmm, okay this post showed up. Go figure.

New members posts go through a short moderation period (5 posts or so) and have to be read and approved by a moderator/administrator. Sometimes there is a short time from you posting the post and it being read and approved and showing up on the forums. Other times, it may take longer depending on who is online to moderate, what forums those individuals moderate compared to what forums you have posted in, or how busy the admin team may be at any given time during the day. Hope this helps your understanding!

Be well
Thanks for this!

...What happens if you put yourself on your ignore list?

Then you won't see your post.

I'll have to try it at some point........

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
