Anyone know why my pics are disappearing?
I posted a few yesterday, and they were there. Today poof! They are gone leaving the dreaded red x. Thanks, Petunia |

Can you point me to where you see the "X" or where you uploaded them to?? (e.g., the forums, a blog, etc.?)...

These all show up fine for me... I suspect it's a temporary connectivity issue for you that you're not seeing the images. Most seem to be coming from external servers, and those sometimes aren't always available...

Yep, I see them as well. Have you tried shutting down and restarting? Sometimes when I have problems with images, I clear my cache and they're fine then. I really don't know what it does, but I've seen it mentioned here several times and it always works for me. hehe. I don't know what I'm doing 1/2 the time anyhow.

It's not just you, Petunia. I don't see any pictures in your post either.
 I don't see a red X though. There's just nothing there.

If you posted pics by pointing to their location on a website, it could be that they are no longer on the website, or have moved from that specific location.
Could that be the case?

 Could it be that deleting a pic from your photobucket account deletes it for those that use photobucket too? I deleted both the pics in question last night from my account after I posted them here. And the red X is also gone now. But KD and the Doc can still see them.

Well, maybe I should clarify, Petunia...I saw the snails on the one link. However, they were on another's post. I just went back.
You had a post just before it and I see nothing...no image, no red "x". I can tell you that when another member here had a problem with photobucket, all the pics she was using here from there didn't show at all. I'll bet you hit the nail on the head about deleting them from photobucket. KD
