Hello! I'm new here and I looked through the tutorials and I didn't see anything about this there (unless I missed it for that I apologize). But if you realized you accidentally put a post in the wrong forum or you just don't want the post there anymore, what do you do to get rid of it?

For either one of those times, you can PM one of our fantastic Moderators or Administrators and they can either delete it for you or move it to the forum you'd like it to be in.

On occasion, if the Mods/Admin feel a thread would be better suited in a different forum, they will move it there and send you a PM to let you know. It will still show in the original forum it was posted in, but it will say "(Moved)" in front of the title. If you then click on the title, it will take you to the post...(I think) in the new forum. I think it only stays up like that for a little while though, but I'm not sure.

You can also report your own post if you need it edited or deleted. The report post icon is one of those tiny icons that appear next to the one that shows if a user is online or not, underneath all of the user info and "My mood" in each post. It looks like: Deleting posts?

That lets you get in touch with the moderators for whatever forum without having to look them up.

Best,
DocJohn

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
