I've seen on other sites (vBulletin) where they list the OP (originating postee) of a thread instead of the last person who posted.

If that was available or used here, then when someone has another on ignore, they would see immediately if they had ORIGINATED the thread and could stay away.

Is that doable here???

The person who originates the thread is already listed right under the thread title when you're viewing a list of threads. It would make no sense to do this under the "Last post" column.

Also, most people actually read the whole thread instead of just replying to the latest post. It seems like one wouldn't have very much context if one only looked at the last post in a thread without going back to its beginning to see what the actual thread was about.

I see. I rarely go into the full index of a forum. I tend to flit about on the latest thread replies on the right column. The rest is too much to read.

I was just letting you know the OP's name is listed 3 inches to the left of the last post column... I know one can miss such information, but it is provided.

If there were a way to squeeze in both OP and last responder on the mobile version, I'd be in hog heaven. Like just the first 8 chars of the names, maybe fool with fonts a bit, as long as you keep it on one line, of course.

I mean, by now I can kinda GUESS "No T today" on a monday is from granite, unfortunately!, but i'd like to be able to go right to it.
Thanks for this!

Actually it's a little farther than that for me... I have a 17+ inch screen on this notebook.

But as I said I don't generally go into the category indices but stick on the main index and scan down the right column of latest posts.

I'll have to be more observant or just quit posting. IDK.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
