Windows did an update and it totally messed up my computer... at the same time I had trouble with my comcast cable... grrrr

So now my computer, complete with update that reminds me to keep the updates updating so the time change will be accurate... well my computer says it's 8:10 am and that it was adjusted for DST ending... and my iPhone says it's 9:10 am.

I guess I'll know for sure when I post this, as PC is on Eastern time, right?

Howdy Doody time?

Your iPhone looked to be right; your post says it was posted at 9:11 so majority rules?

The times you see on posts (and at the bottom of every forums.psychcentral page) will be for whatever timezone you select. More on that here.

You do seem to be seeing correct Eastern Standard Time.

here is a link for telling time.. you just click the black arrow to bring up your own time zone and it will tell you what the time is in your own location.

JD's post timestamp is 8:11am on my screen. Time is relative though and we are in different time zones so yes...your computer time is off
I find the site below to be very helpful in determining what time it is for my friends wherever they may be

Zanna in Lahti is asleep...tomorrow lol.

By the time my post is reviewed and approved half of us may be asleep

On second thought -- you were seeing correct Eastern Standard Time on your iPhone but your computer appears to be an hour behind. Your time should be three hours ahead of me but the 8:10 you're describing is only two hours ahead of the timestamp I see on your post.

Sorry about the earlier confusion.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
