Deleting the post itself...no. But you can edit out the text if you make a post then decide you don't want others to read it. A lot of people replace the original content with just ".............". But a moderator has to delete the actual post.

If you get to it within 4 hours. I hope you don't mean the Homer Simpson post - it was the only one in the thread that I liked. Although I wasn't sure Marge and the kids would agree with you - last week was they called him Fun Dad, it was just hilarious, I loved the foodie rap song! That is the greatest show. Spalding Grey said in one of his monologues that he knew he had "arrived" when he was mentioned in a Simpsons episode. Marge tells Homer to hurry up and finish his bath, they're going with another couple to see Spalding Gray, and Homer whines, "oh, I don't wanna see that guuyyyy!" I almost died when I saw that episode, so funny!
Thanks for this!

Deleting a post

Sorry if the picture is a little big........to edit, just click on the "Edit" button down at the bottom of your message. While you can't delete the entire post, you can edit the text within a 4 hour period from the time you posted it, like Hankster mentioned.

Hope this helps!

If you're still within the 4-hour window and your post is a reply, not a new thread, the Edit button also offers you a Delete option. For threads, you can take out the content as Indie suggested and use the "Report" button (the Deleting a post or Deleting a post icon at the left of every post) to ask one of us to get rid of the thread for you.

If it's too late to edit, all you can do is report the post as above.

When the top post of a thread is removed, any replies go with it.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
