My "About Me" and "Statistics" are showing up in the strangest places. It came up in the middle of messages on my profile page (it's coming up on each page ) and it is on the top of each individual page of friends. Could anyone tell me why and how to get rid of them?
(More info; it has been "flashing" in my friends list for quite some time, but never landed anywhere.) Last edited by greylove; Dec 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM. |

At least on my (older) browser, when a member profile page is loading it may first show all the tabs open one below the other (VMs, About Me, Stats...), then redisplay the page a couple of times until only the VMs are shown. Sometimes, too, it'll start to display a VM, display another copy of the same VM right under it, perhaps even start to display a third copy, then collapse all three copies into one. I can understand all this happening while the page is still loading and reformatting. If the page still looks like that when your browser status says "Done", the browser may have gotten confused. Does Reload (or Refresh) change anything? What about closing and restarting your browser?

Oh, thanks FooZe! Guess what? I was coming over here to tell everyone things were back to normal. And now that I see your suggestions, I think what worked was to close and restart my browser. (That sounds good anyway, although I actually don't know what I'm talking about
