I am having a problem in chat when I want to have a private conversation or to whisper. I had one person I could have a private conversation one day with, but couldn't whisper. The next day, with this same person, I couldn't do either one. But I could whisper to others. What does this mean

Perhaps he has you on ignore.

I had an issue with someone being able to whisper to me, but I couldn't whisper back, and they at least said it wasn't because they had me on ignore... it was weird
