If there is one, then if someone could tell me when it is... but I do not see it on the calendar. Anyway, if there is not one already, I was wondering how many people would be interested in a CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) chat? I went through this type of therapy for a long time, and it has helped me a lot. CBT includes identifying situations in which you could think differently about, so that the intensity of your negative emotions about the situation goes down. It deals with correcting the thought process, in order to feel better and act better. It includes recognizing certain distorted thinking patterns, such as "All or Nothing", "I should.." and "Personalizing."
Well, let me know if anyone is interested in this kind of chat (not to replace real CBT that a professional should do) where we can discuss some of these distorted thinking patterns, and how to recognize it in our situations. If many are interested, I will put in a request to host this chat. Also, give me some days and times you would prefer.
