Sorry, I am unclear whether I can ask here for a thread I started to be deleted or must PM an administrator.

You'll probably get the quickest results if you use the Report button (
 ). Everyone on the team, moderators as well as administrators, sees those reports. If your thread (or post) is in a forum where we moderate, we'll be happy to delete it for you.
