I can't download java from the link in Chat. It just freezes and I eventually have to restart my computer.

go to their website and get it from there... web page
Java takes a few minutes to setup so it may seem that your puter is frozen...make sure when you install it that you have nothing else open on your desktop or it may not install properly... |

It froze me out as soon as I hit the link - didn't even get to see the java site - but

I only have anti-virus (firewall?) and adware. I managed to download it from the link mystry posted - just wasn't able to from this site.

Hey Sabrina, glad that worked for you...you should be running a firewall though...zonealarm has a freebie that works pretty good... Zone alarm ...before you install zonealarm on your system go to this site steve gibson's sheilds-up here you can check to see if your hacker proof...just press the one that says ALL SERVICE PORTS...if you are good then you should get a reading of true stealth...if not your cd-rom tray will open...now close that out and install zone alarm...then go back and try that program again...this time you should get a true stealth reading...this site is exellent for info and help with protecting your computer from attacks...if you have any problems just pm me...I love getting pms...lol...
