Can anybody tell me if the Maxcomm Amazon.de script is available anywhere? Or could anybody let me have a copy? It seems the download site has been down for quite a while now.

Thanks in advance

Hi Gordon,

Have you tried contacting Ross Faulds? He's supposedly the webmaster for that site.

Email: webmaster@computer-mentors.co.uk

I tried looking for other sites that might carry it, but no luck.

Thanks for your reply Splash, I have tried to contact Ross but up to now I have had no success. His site is still up but his download links are not working.

I too have tried many other sites but all the download links lead back to computer-mentors.com.

Maybe somebody with a copy will read the post and send me one.

Hi Gordon:

I don't know why the site is there with all dead download links. I'd like a copy of the top 100 script as well. I'll let you know if I run across the .de version.

Freddy

I give up, I guess we will have to wait for our scripts until computer mentors is back up. I have just spent 4 1/2 hours searching for both scripts and every single link went back to computer mentors download page. Sorry about that.

I found the same Gordon. Metaseraches and CGI script sources all seem to point to the same location. Maybe if we are really nice to Doctor John he might post a copy for us. Can you do it Doctor John?

I have just spent another 2 hours on the German search engines (very difficult when I don't even speak German) :-) and again all the links point to computer mentors download page.

Now I have given up.

Please Dr. John take pity on us and post the scripts or a useable link to them please.

There is a working script available for Amazon.de which has nothing to do with Maxxcomm. You can see it in action on http://www.translationresearch.com/ in the German bookshop.
