I created a forum here today, Brain Injuries and Emotional Disorders, and was hoping to invite a couple of people to join. However, when I put their name in the slot and entered, the computer said that there was no such person. I tried with a few different names. I am confused.
![]() I know that I'm not the only one here who struggles with some kind of brain injury, like: TBI, epilepsy, MS, encephalitis, etc as well as also struggling emotionally. Major depression, anxiety, personality disorders (or tendencies), early childhood abuse, etc. Most of my mental issues struck long before my epileptic surgery. One year later, I suffered a TBI, which complicated my prognosis. I can get somewhat better with some tasks, but I am always going to struggle with certain things. Anyway, I thought that it would be helpful if you could advise a certain area/s to invite people ~ those who are feeling like they don't really "fit" in any of the groups, due to their complicated medical and mental history ~ one where we can lean up on each other and find some strength. We can help each other by really understanding what the other has gone through and share our joys, hopes, and sorrows. Let my know if you can think of an appropriate group (or groups) of people. Thank you very much!
