I never use chat, but just checking chat, it didn't seem to be available.
Is this Tapatalk the "new" chat!? What is it?

tapatalk is an app for mobile phones/cell phones. it is like a tool bar for your iphone/cell phones so you can keep track of and post to all the forums/social networking communities you have joined. mine does not have a chat room option on it so I dont think it can be used for that. heres where you can get it...

Tapatalk is a free smartphone app that simply gives you an alternative way to access the forums. It does not have a chat option.

You do not need to use Tapatalk to access the forums on your smartphone; it's use is completely optional.
