Why do some threads get closed ?

I just found a juicy one, ha ha, it was only 2 pages long, and it was closed.

I wanted to add my viewpoint,

'SIGH'

Sometimes the OP asks for a thread to be closed. Sometimes a thread is closed because it has become antagonistic and/or against guidelines in some way. Usually, when a team member closes a thread, there is a reason posted as to why the thread is being closed.

Please know that when a thread is closed, members should not create another thread of the same topic as that thread would end up being closed or removed as it too, would be against our guidelines.

Thanks for the question!

Hmm.. where was the juicy thread?? (might be against the rules to answer me :/ )

I noticed you can still do "thanks" or "hugs" on closed threads, that's pretty cool.

Blueinanna, it was a post about porn. It was only yesterday, but you know what , I can't recall much about it now. My mind is going, I fear. I noticed it because I posted a question about ladies and porn, this was in a similar vein. I don't recall seeing any reason for its closure, don't think there was one.

hmm.. there is a forum group called women's issues and also one called sex/gender issues. I bet if you post in there it would be fine and acceptable (?) I'm figuring.
I'll respond if I see it.

This thread has gone off topic so I'll be closing it at this time.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
