Did you check the checkbox on top of their avatar? It's easy to miss that you need to do that first... Otherwise, let us know the exact error message you're receiving when you check the checkbox and click on the Accept button.

I had the same problem as well before. I did the same thing DocJohn mentioned, and that was the issue for me, hopefully it is for you.

Maybe it is because of the small amount of posts, because it happens same to me.
