It feels kind of dumb trying to contact someone and then hear from someone who knows them that they are banned.

It should say.

In the grand scheme of things, there are very few members who end up being banned from PC. Most of the time the situation is that a member has asked to deleted their account.

If a member is indeed banned, then it's a private situation between the team and the member and as such, PC does not make that situation public.

I understand the point, but it still feels dumb waiting for someone to pop in in a few days and continue a discussion and no one, sending PM... nothing. Then someone told me person was most likely banned. Bah.

Makes sense then.

I am glad there is no indicator - otherwise it would be eerily reminiscent of "scarlet letter".
