I guess I can ask this question here. What happened is a while back when I was on line this "you need to update flash player" popped up and I of course clicked on the link to update and well flash player hasn't been the same...
OK so all you "computer folks" you can laugh if you want but don't poke me.. SOOOOOOO I think ... thinking isn't always a good thing for me... anyway, I thought if I just delete flash player and download it again and all would be fine....... Well I don't think you are supost to delete flash player because I "THINK" it is part of windows or Microsoft or something like that.. Right... because I can't find where I can download a new flash player... If this makes any sense to anyone and if anyone has a "link" I can clink on to get flash player, I'd greatly appreciate you doing so.... I though I learned a long time ago to never delete unless I knew for sure what I was doing, but am thinking I must have forgotten to never touch the delete button...thinks i'm addicted to the delete buttons... |

Hi radio flyer - I'll give you a link and press download and follow the commands. You may need to re-start your computer after. If may prompt you for other things like a tool bar and just ignore that. If you have any other problems, Rohag is good with computers. Hope this helps.

That looks like a good link but it seems to be connected to the VLC player which is great too but isn't needed for viewing flash videos online. I'd recommend only downloading flashplayer from Adobe.
Always be wary of sites asking you to download a new version of flash player and/or "needed codecs" for viewing video files. Chances are very good that it's malware. And no, you don't have to delete the old versions of flashplayer. Adobe Flash Player - Downloads |

Lynn, I downloaded the link and as George mentioned, what I downloaded was VLC player and it does not play music in the music section of PC... SO I deleted it... Thank you again Lynn.. I don't know what VLC player is... Since it didn't play the music I wanted I just deleted it... I appreciate your help
I think I learned my lesson George.. I thought it was a newer version of flash player from flash player.. guess it wasn't because it messed up my flash player big time.. ANd I am not computer smart "as if you can't tell by now" I kept hitting the new version button when I tried to listen or watch something that flash player was needed and it still didn't work.. duh on me.... Guess that is why I deleted the old version... I am embarrassed.... Thank you George for the link... on my way to download... . |

No problem. I'd keep the VLC. VLC is a very good player for video files on your hard drive or DVDs. Don't be embarrassed. I fell for that "you need a special codec to view this file...download it here" scam once trying to watch an old movie.

ok.. I will download VLC again.... I think flash player works. Only difference now is there is a blue box to click on in the video/lyrics forum... Click on the blue box and it takes you to youtube.. Is good to be able to view and listen to the music here again..
![]() Thanks again, George.. |
