Not sure if I'm missing something or what.......... when i make a post I don't have that area that I used to have---the place where you can put something in bold, italics or make a quote. It's just not on my screen...
![]() I don't seem to have those options anymore?? Did that area go somewhere else??? I can't find it?? thanks mandy -(edited for typo's) |

Hi Mandy
UBB code is enabled, so we have to type the codes now. If you click on "UBBCode in your posts" (it's the link on the top right corner when you reply to something) that'll give you the list of codes. |

I can make BOLD myself by typing - [ b ] at the front and [ / b ] at the end..... no spaces.

Well, the link 'disappeared' because UBB was enabled.
Above your usernname (when you click to reply), do you get the following: " Fill out the form below to post a message on the forum. HTML is enabled. UBBCode is enabled, so you may use UBBCode in your posts." The latter part "UBBCode in your posts" is a link. If you click it it should give you the llist. Hang on I'll try to copy/paste |

Or simply, click here to get the "Can I use html in my posts?"
http://forums.psychcentral.com/faq.php?Cat=#html PS: But you should be able to see the 'link' in that sentence above your username in the reply box... (it is underlined as well) |

Not a worry Mandy! And yes, it is somewhat tricky now...
The only tip to remember is that HTML works like this (without the spaces): E.g. [ code] write your text [ /code] Also, just remember the important codes: For bold, the code => [ b] write word [ /b] For italics, the code => [ i] write [ /i] To quote something, the code = [ quote]blah blah [ /quote] Or click the link (to get the list): http://forums.psychcentral.com/faq.php?Cat=#html |
