I'm not sure if it's my computer or my internet connection. I try to join the lobby and a gray window comes up and never loads anything else.
I'm on a Mac, OS X 10.75
Firefox 22.0

Can anyone help me figure out how to get into chat?

Have you tried getting in by clicking on the NO POPUP CHAT in the dropdown list?

It doesn't work on Safari or Firefox. I don't use Chrome.

I cleared my cookies and cache. It still doesn't work. I also downloaded the latest version of flash and it still doesn't work. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. all i see is a huge grey box, nothing in it. This is on regular embedded chat and no popup chat.

Do you have a firewall or virus software installed and set to a very high setting? Sometimes such software or software set at high security settings can block the port needing access in order for our chat room to work (I assume you are not on a satellite or mobile phone Internet connection).

If you do have such software installed, there's usually an option to put in an exception or add us to your whitelist. You would need to add the domain chat.psychcentral.com to such a setting.

Also, can you both try this link and let me know if you have problems accessing the demo room (it's for future chat software we're considering moving to):

ParaChat Community Chat Software Live Demo

Thanks!
