I am new and am having a hard time deciding if I should be posting in the BP or MDD forum. Is it permissible to post the same or similar posts in >1 forum? Thanks!

I would not cut and paste but modify what I write for the likely sorts of people reading? Sounds like you want to discuss your depression? Talking more about your BP rhythms, what type of BP you have, etc. would be helpful to orient people in the BP forum before you get into your post whereas talking about depressive episodes you may have had in the past and how they resolved, your antidepressant meds, etc. might help others with MDD in that forum? Depending on the responses you get in each forum, you then would know which forum will probably be of more help to you with future issues so you don't have to do twice the work.

Perna's answer is great and I can't really add anything to it. We prefer members try and find the one best place for their question or post, but realize that may not always be possible...

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
