I just joined here today and I wrote a long post and posted it in the Depression category. It's not there. I remember briefly seeing something after I clicked submit that said my post has to approved or something by a moderator before it shows up, but it's been like 4 hours since I clicked submit. Does it take that long? It's not in my list of subscriptions, even though I subscribed to it, and it's not on my profile in my "statistics." I don't want to have to rewrite it...it was long. So what's going on?

Yes, it can take that long and longer. We're all volunteers here, and we rely on the volunteers' time in order to review new members' posts to keep spammers and such out of our community.

It's a small inconvenience that keeps our community safe and spam-free.

Thanks for your understanding,
DocJohn

Oh okay, thank you! Scared me, I thought I'd have to rewrite the whole post. Thanks!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
