This problem seems to come up occasionally. We discussed it here before: http://forums.psychcentral.com/commu...ml#post3333004
Thanks for this!

Thanks for your reply. The link suggested going the user control panel route. I just tried that and no luck. No biggie . . . I'm sure it'll work again someday.
Thanks for this!

I just tried the Control Panel mood changer myself -- for the first time in a couple of years, I think. I selected one of the moods and looked for how to "save changes." Nothing seemed to happen until I clicked the Reload button in my browser; then my mood (the one onscreen, that is ) changed. I selected "No mood" and clicked Reload again. The mood I'd selected earlier went away.

What happens when you try that?

I tried that but didn't know how to reload, so now my mood just says "Change Mood." It's okay though -- I'll deal with it. Thanks for trying to help though. I have just found it helpful to gauge my mood throughout the day.

I don't remember what mood you were showing before, if any, but now I see no mood icon next to your posts. That may be what "Change Mood" gets saved as, if you leave it selected.

Re: "didn't know how to reload" -- in some browsers that control is called "Refresh" instead. Here's what it looks like in Firefox:

Why Can I Not Change my mood

I also get a menu with a "Reload" option if I right-click on some part of the page that isn't a link or a control button. That's in Firefox running under Windows (XP, and I imagine other versions too). I'm not sure what you'd see after a right-click in Internet Explorer or Chrome, or Ctrl-click in Safari.
