In the old chat there was a little bit when you first logged in about not coming in drunk/high or to talk about active suicidal thoughts. I was wondering if that was going to be added to this chat also so it is a reference for people. Thanks.

Shouldn't be too difficult to code in, I don't think.

This is the second time this has happened to me in two days. I log in the chat and I see other people in the same room as me but no one can see what I'm saying and no one can see what they're saying. I click the message history and I see that people have been talking but it's not showing up.

Monster this happened to me today as well. There i am chatting away having a good time...i get booted to the lobby...i don't know why.....and then i switch back to the room i am in and no one can see me. I can see they are in the room but I can not see their dialog nor can they see mine. I gave up i was so annoyed.

I'm having a similar problem. It lets me go "in" to chat but does not log me in. Now it is logging me in but there are no rooms on the right side of the screen and at the bottom there is something that says: ecredits. Before when I have seen that it goes away right away. And I can't see anyone else in the room.

This issue should be fixed now.

Always restart your browser to ensure it's not loading bad, cached data... Thanks!

Chat definitely has issues. Twice I've tried to jump to a different room and the whole board crashed. I think they were private rooms I didn't have the password to, but I didn't know that until I got there and then when I log out or close the window it seems to break chat. Sorry for the inconvenience but I can't be the only person with this issue.

And if I am the only person who's broken chat (twice now), please don't come after me with pitchforks and torches.

It's highly problematic, it routinely hiccups and everybody gets dc'd from chat. And on rejoin now - as well as earlier, even though it's letting users appear in the chatroom messages aren't visable! (clearly that's on top of all the other issues)

I love how I check to see "Who is in Chat" and it shows I am in there. Wait....what? I'm in there?! No I am not!

If chat "messes up" and believes you're in a room when you're not, the best bet is to logout using the logout button in chat, and then wait about 2-3 minutes before trying to enter again (restarting your browser just to be safe).

The server should notice you're not connected and disconnect you after that time period has passed. Then you should be good to go to log back in.

If you try logging out and logging right back in, that probably won't work. We'll work to see if we can't get this issue fixed. Trying a different browser might be worth it as well...

I'd say about 25% of the time that I try to login, I cannot see what other's are writing, but they can see what I'm writing..

Joins and parts don't show properly. Someone can show as leaving and still be there or joining five times on a row.

There is also a lag that comes and goes. Not often but still.

Also viewing profile can lead to a totally different member.

I have tried logging in with both IE and Chrome with no luck tonight. I have even tried no pop up chat. All I get is a white screen. I am sad.

2nd day in a row that I can't access chat. Starting to tick me off as I use it as a way to distract. Have Windows 8.1 and tried on both IE and Chrome. I don't know how to clear my cache on Windows 8. If anyone knows how, please help me. Thanks.

Buttr.
Here are links on how to clear your cache. In Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95582?hl=en

Clearing your Cache is specific to your internet browser not your version of windows. I don't know what version of IE you are using that comes with windows 8.1 so i can't link for that.
I hope this helps.

Not sure if y'all are still working the bugs out, but ...

It would be nice if we could adjust the size of our chat screens instead of only having fully open or totally closed available.

And a recurring issue I'm having is that it will lock up on me where I cannot see what other chatters are saying and I have to log all the way out then log back in to resume chatting.

Thanks!

Haven't logged in since my last post. Chat is still not working. I cleared my cache in Chrome with no luck. I also cleared my cache on IE. I don't know what else to do. Any help from anyone is much appreciated. I have Windows 8.1

Chat works fine for me.

It looks really nice. I like it. People are still really quiet though, not a lot of chatting going on
